My client is a leading provider of professionally monitored alarms for residential households and small businesses in Europe.
They are seeking a Ecommerce Sales Manager (DTC). The role will report directly into the Regional Head of DTC & Digital for Arlo Europe, while working closely with the rest of the Europe Organization.
The Ecommerce Sales Manager (DTC) will play an important role at the heart of the Europe Organization and will have the opportunity to develop quickly, benefiting from the support of a talented Team.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end management of our DTC sales in Europe. This includes but not is not limited to promotions (including tactical and strategic planning), inventory (sales in and out, forecasting/DA), product launches and product strategy
- Lead DTC sales execution for DE and CH markets incl. localization (translations, local promotional strategy, QA testing and site management)
- Lead, mentor and motivate the DTC sales team to ensure high performance and productivity by building commercial knowledge and proactively identify ways to fill knowledge gaps through engaging with the wider sales organization (2 Direct Reports)
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets for DTC at EU level. Top and bottom line.
- Weekly reporting and forecasting aligning with Omni-channel and Amazon
- Review overall DTC promotional strategy – (global and local execution) – creative targeting of consumers and testing and learning different executions in different regions
- Identify, develop and execute sales opportunities and share number based business cases to support decision making, collaborating with FP&A
- Sharing best practice with the DTC team but also the wider business to ensure we are stay ahead of trends / learnings as we focus more online / digital
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant information for management reporting and quarterly business reviews
- Manage stock forecasting, working with DTC Account Managers to ensure accuracy in forecasting and alignment with budget
- Accountability and P&L ownership alongside Head of DTC
- Full responsibility for quarterly trade spend budgets at channel and country level
- Interact with other departments, both internally and externally, as needed to support DTC development e.g. Acquisition Team and finance
- Collaborate cross functionally with marketing, and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives
- Competitor analysis of DTC sites – monitoring of offers / executions / functionality to ensure we are keeping pace
- Work collaboratively with the other commercial teams to share market insights and drive complimentary sales plans
Experience and Qualifications
Key requirements:
- 2+ years in a senior sales role (online/ecommerce based)
- ROI mindset where sales activities are continuously evaluated to conclude on numerical output vs target, as well as “what’s working”, “what’s not working” and key learnings going forward
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and transfer this to meaningful actions that drive results
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Solutions oriented mindset, ie focus efforts on what’s possible within current business objectives and budgets
- Proactive and capable of identifying opportunities and executing with minimal direction
- Previous experience working with P&L
- Confident in presenting to senior leadership
- Not afraid to roll up sleeves to get the work done
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in German/English
- French language a bonus

Business travel
Travel is required for this position :
Quarterly travel to main hubs in Europe (London, Geneva, Paris, etc). Travel expenses/hotel will be covered.
