My client is a charity that offers bespoke further education to young people with profound and multiple disabilities.
Due to expansion and growth, they have some openings for Tutors to join the team of education delivery based at their main college Ullenwood.
Are you an innovative and creative professional inspired to use your skills to support people with complex physical and learning disabilities?
Your role involves creating and implementing engaging and top-notch learning experiences for students with diverse and complex disabilities, such as Autism, Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), and Multiple Learner Disabilities.
Utilising RARPA principles, you’ll organise and update teaching records, tracking students’ progress towards accreditation and aligning with their Education Health and Care Plan and Primary Learning Goals.
With an understanding of a post 16 curriculum in a specialist setting, you will have experience of planning and delivering innovative and person centred sessions to young people, working with people with complex learning difficulties and disabilities. You will ideally hold a relevant level 3 or 4 professional qualification and ideally have or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification at Diploma level.
Experience for the Tutor:
- Experience as a TA or above candidates ideally will have qualified teacher status.
- If you are experienced TA’s but not gained QTS we can support them with this.
